Dear Members of the APCOM,

The offer to Moisés Expósito Alonso expired last Friday, after a one week extension, and it is not clear when he will be ready to make a decision.  Jerry, Greg and the co-Chairs of the Plant Microbiome Search committee, Wolfgang and Janelle would like to send an offer letter to Lena Mueller, with a response deadline of June 2.

If you replied to my earlier email, thanks.  If not, please reply to this one to let me know if you support this recommendation.  Please cc: Adrienne Rodriguez arodriguez at salk.edu<mailto:arodriguez at salk.edu> so she can track the votes.

The situation is time sensitive so I would appreciate it if you can please send your reply as soon as you can.  Assuming APCOM supports it, I will send our endorsement on to Reuben to be considered by AC.
