[Apcom-all] Reminder: October ApCom Meeting, Monday, October 14th at 2:00pm

Dear ApCom,


This is a reminder that the next ApCom meeting will take place this upcoming Monday, October 14th at 2:00pm in the Fellows Room. Please find the agenda for this meeting attached. As you can see from the agenda, one of the items is discussing Talmo's Midterm Review. You can find the materials Talmo provided to his committee here<https://salkinstitute.box.com/s/6ptguzu978uninenk76ybt89qnc1z8g4>. Tanya will present the committee's findings to ApCom before a recommendation vote will take place.


Please note that for two recent Junior Faculty awards (Blavatnik and Brain Research Foundation Seed Grant) only one Junior Faculty member applied for each therefore, as ApCom decided, they will automatically be the Institute's nominee. For the BRF the nominee will be Kenta and for the Blavatnik Dmitry will be the nominee for the Chemical Sciences category, while Jesse will be the Life Sciences nominee (the Institute can nominate one person per category).
