Dear ApCom Members,


Below is a clarification of the two ApCom emails:


Apcom at salk.edu: has been around for a while. It is used by the ApCom Chairs, Ana and myself (and Marielle previous to me) to discuss and prepare ApCom slides, agendas, potential awards and other duties related to the monthly ApCom meetings. It is also an email where both ApCom and non-ApCom members can email without bringing the reason why they are emailing to the whole committees attention.


Apcom-all at salk.edu: was created this past March so the ApCom chair(s) and myself could email everyone on the committee (and their admins) all at once to disseminate ApCom agendas, meeting notifications, reminders, voting matters, etc. without having to type everyones email each and every time a group communication is needed. This list is updated as people roll on and off ApCom or get hired or leave the Institute.
